Neuroblastoma is a cancer that affects children. Mackenzie is a beautiful girl who was diagnosed at the age of two and a half weeks. Her parents Ally and Jacob had so much to deal with as young parents. They have so much support from their immediate family and  wider circle of friends. Mackenzie had 4 months of chemo and rang the remission bell just before her first birthday. Mackenzie and her family have inspired me to help raise funds for research, particularly to creating appropriate cancer treatments for children. I will be running 10kms on Sunday, August 10th. If you feel like you connect to Ally and Jacobs' story or have learnt something new, donations will help other families through their own journey.
