In Memory of my beautiful daughter Emily
This year, on August 7, Emily would have been 7 years old.
This year, Neuroblastoma Australia is hosting their first ever charity walk in Brisbane, to raise funds for vital research into Neuroblastoma.
As fate would have it, the walk will be held on August 10 - just a couple of days after Emily’s birthday.
To remember Emily, and to honour her brave fight with cancer, we will be walking 5 kilometres in Emily’s memory - 1 kilometre for every year she lived.
We would love for you to join us (and to help us achieve our goal of forming the biggest team in the event’s history).
Run2Cure is the charity’s largest fundraising event for research into the aggressive childhood cancer, Neuroblastoma. The mission of Run2Cure Neuroblastoma is to raise awareness of neuroblastoma childhood cancer, raise much-needed funds for research into neuroblastoma and provide information and support to those families affected.
The event will be held on Sunday the 10th August just 3 days after Emily's birthday. In truly Emily style we encourage everyone to wear purple or pink her two favourite colours.
