I'm fundraising for...

I have set myself a personal challenge for 2025 and am taking part in Run2Cure Neuroblastoma. Run2Cure is a charity fun run and raises funds for the aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma.

Neuroblastoma is a cancer affecting young children with the average age being just 2 years of age and survival rates for aggressive neuroblastoma being just 1 in 2.

So in addition to my own goal, I want to make a difference to the young children affected. If you are able to make a donation, be it a few dollars or more, I would be very grateful.

Backstory:)

Sunday 13th Jul
Hello everyone,

My name is Chrissie and I will be running 10km this year in run 2 cure to raise money for more research towards neuroblastoma.
Why am I running?
My 4 year old niece Laura was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma
2 years ago. This run is for her, her mother Emma and father James. Laura has gone through many intensive treatments over the last couple of years and has spent half her life in hospital. Unfortunately last June 2024 she relapsed. It was recommended that the focus now is Laura's quality life and to make the most of the time she has left. My family are in New Zealand so it has been hard to watch them go through this over the last couple of years without being physically there to support them.

Thank you to my Sponsors
