This year I’m participating in the Neuroblastoma Run2Cure

Neuroblastoma is a cancer affecting young children with the average age being just 2 years of age and survival rates for aggressive neuroblastoma being just 1 in 2.

I dedicate this run in honour of Luna, an incredibly brave girl who battled stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma.  Luna was the embodiment of courage, and it is in her honour that we lace up our running shoes for this event.

This run is more than just a race; it's a call to action. We are running to raise funds for Run2Cure and support vital research into kinder, less toxic treatments for neuroblastoma. With each step we take, we move closer to a world where children like Luna can receive better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

I want to make a difference to the young children affected, so they can have a chance to grow up healthy and strong.
